Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
After finishing my in-depth reviews on Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, it’s time for me to share my latest review on the exclusive BBC iPlayer series ‘Tales of the TARDIS’. This was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ back in November 2023. Originally six episodes, this is now a seven-episode series with its seventh being a special one released in June 2024 between the Series 14 two-part finale ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’/’Empire of Death’. Last weekend, I attended the ‘Festival of the Time Lords’ convention at Newark Showground in Newark on Saturday 30th May 2026. I greatly enjoyed attending the convention and it was a very good warm weather throughout the day, which is incredible! Continue reading

It’s an epic in-depth ‘Doctor Who’ review by me today! 😀 Today, it’s time to check out the seventh and final story of Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. It’s time for the two-part finale ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’/’Empire of Death’ by Russell T. Davies. This story also features the return of Bonnie Langford as Melanie Bush, Jemma Redgrave as Kath Lethbridge-Stewart, Yasmin Finney as Rose Noble and the rest of the U.N.I.T. team for the neo-RTD era (except for Ruth Madeley as Shirley Ann Bingham, which is a shame – this will be explained in the review itself). I saw ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’ on TV on the 15th of June 2024 and I saw both ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’ and ‘Empire of Death’ at the cinema at midnight from the 21st leading into the 22nd June 2024. I did spoiler-free reactions on both ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’ and ‘Empire of Death’ at the time of seeing the episodes back in June 2024. What more do I have to say about this two-part finale in Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series? Continue reading

I know I’m behind in terms of doing reviews related to ‘The Mandalorian’ series in ‘Star Wars’. So far, I’ve shared quick reviews on Seasons 1 and 2 of ‘The Mandalorian’ and on ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ series. 🙂 I’ve not checked out Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ yet. Continue reading

Here we are on the sixth episode of Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. It’s time to check out ‘Rogue’, a pseudo-historical adventure set in Regency times where the Doctor and Ruby attend a ball at a mansion. The episode is by Kate Herron (who directed Season 1 of the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ series ‘Loki’) and Briony Redman. ‘Rogue’ was shown via BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and via Disney+ in non-UK parts of the world on the 8th of June 2024. I’ve been able to share more thoughts on ‘Rogue’ as a ‘Doctor Who’ episode in my latest in-depth review since doing my spoiler-free reaction video on ‘Rogue’ back in June 2024. What else do I have to say about the episode as well as sharing my in-depth thoughts on a certain cameo featured in the episode? Continue reading

I’ve realised it’s this TV show’s 30th anniversary this year! 😀 It’s also Spring Bank Holiday in May in the UK today! 🙂 It’s not been that long since I finished sharing my updated reviews on ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. So, here’s a chance to check out my updated ‘Beast Wars’ reviews again from the first two-part story called ‘Beast Wars’ in Season 1 to the two-part finale ‘Nemesis’ in Season 3. Continue reading

I’ve been revisiting Season 18 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series recently. In doing so, I’ve been able to revisit my review of the 2019 BBC Target audiobook of ‘Warriors’ Gate’ by Stephen Gallagher and have updated it accordingly along with the 2023 Target novelization. The 2023 Target novelization is a collection of stories related to ‘Warriors’ Gate’ – all penned by Stephen Gallagher – called ‘Warriors’ Gate and Beyond’. This includes ‘Warriors’ Gate’ itself, ‘The Kairos Ring’ and ‘The Little Book of Fate’. I’ll be sharing my reviews on ‘The Kairos Ring’ and ‘The Little Book of Fate’ in due course. ‘Warriors’ Gate’ is the third and final story in ‘The E-Space Trilogy’ in Season 18 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. The 2019 Target audiobook for ‘Warriors’ Gate’ is read by Jon Culshaw, and he’s joined by John Leeson, who voices K-9 in the ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. Continue reading

For my birthday this year, I had a couple of jigsaw puzzles based on two photos. This included a photo of me with Puddles, one of my cuddly toy dogs, and a photo of me with Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) and Cuddles, who’s another of my cuddly toy dogs. Continue reading

Last weekend, I saw the two movies ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ starring Tom Cruise at Vue cinema in Cardiff to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ‘Top Gun’. I’m amazed that it’s been 40 years since the release of the original 1986 film. How times flies? Continue reading
